Windows 10 Build 10240 now available

Microsoft has just released the preview build of Windows 10 with Build 10240 for both fast and slow rings. During previous build up to Build 10166 they use to release firstly for fast rings only. But from this build, they release for both rings, this shows that this build is now almost stable and is nearly final release version.

From this build, the desktop watermark is removed and during the installation and you are asked for agreement of terms and conditions. However, you can check your Windows version by typing “winver” in search and you will see a popup message with Windows version.

In this build, they have claimed that Microsoft Edge, new web browser, will run faster than previous and faster than Google Chrome. It might be a good news for Windows developers that they can publish their universal apps for Windows 10 to the Windows Dev Center using production quality Windows 10 tools on July 29.

The release date is coming nearer and the build gets stability more on each build. Well, we have to wait for July 29 for the final release of Windows 10 and do not forget that Visual Studio 15 will release on July 20.
